John Kennedy's Blog
BATON ROUGE, La. – National Right to Life endorsed John Kennedy in his bid to become the next U.S. Senator for Louisiana.
National Right to Life supports pro-life candidates and causes around the nation to help protect the rights of unborn children. The National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) is the oldest and the largest national pro-life organization in the United States with affiliates in all 50 states and over 3,000 local chapters nationwide.
“We must make sure that pro-life voters in Louisiana go to the polls on Dec. 10 and know that Republican John Kennedy is the pro-life candidate. We must make the Senate 52 to 48 for the babies, not 51-49…that would be just too close!” wrote Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life.
Kennedy said, “I’m proud to receive the endorsement of National Right to Life. I believe that all life is precious and should be defended. I will proudly stand for life in the United States Senate."
The swamp in Washington D.C. has to be drained, and I can help.
I would appreciate your vote on December 10.
Washington, D.C. – The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced its endorsement of John Kennedy, the leading conservative in Louisiana’s race for U.S. Senate. A runoff election will take place on December 10th, to fill a seat that is currently held by retiring Republican, David Vitter.
“After the historic conservative victories on election day, conservatives should focus on the election of John Kennedy to the Senate from Louisiana,” said ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp. “He will be an important additional Republican vote for reduced taxes, Supreme Court openings, and rebuilding our military. I urge all conservatives in Louisiana to vote for John Kennedy on December 10.”
Treasurer Kennedy responded to ACU’s endorsement by saying, “I thank the American Conservative Union for their endorsement. They know that when I’m elected, I’ll always defend our Constitution and serve as a strong conservative voice in the Senate. We have all the momentum in this race, and it’s important that conservatives remain active until the runoff so we can close this election out with a win.”
Founded in 1964, the American Conservative Union (ACU) is the nation’s original conservative organization. For more than fifty years, ACU has served as an umbrella organization harnessing the collective strength of conservative organizations fighting for Americans who are concerned with liberty, personal responsibility, traditional values, and strong national defense. As one of America's premier conservative voices, ACU promotes a conservative vision on issues before Congress, the Executive Branch, State Legislatures, the media, political candidates, and the public.
